Toll Brothers To Build New Community In Apex, Former Apex Player To Coach, NC Guidelines To Dealing With Coyotes
The Toll Brothers, based out of Pennsylvania, have announced they are building a new luxurious home community in Apex North Carolina next. The Toll Brothers have already built a variety of amazing communities across the nation and having them build their next one in Apex, NC has proven to be quite the honor. Construction is speculated to begin soon, with homes being available for sale potentially in 2019.

Toll Brothers at Weddington will be comprised of 90 single-family houses once it opens later this summer. The project is near the intersection of White Oak Church Road and Green Level West Road.

Morton is a returning player from the Apex football program and looks forward to taking over as the head football coach. Expressing his excitement for the position, Morton takes pride in his Apex upbringing and community. He is looking forward to the future of his career as a football coach after being a player once.
Apex hires former player to take over football program
“I am proud to be back at Apex. I went to elementary, middle and high school here,” Morton said. “I wore the green and gold on Friday nights, so obviously it is a special place for me and quite an honor to represent my community as the football coach. I can’t wait to get to work.”
Morton is replacing Robert Graham, who spent three seasons as the head varsity football coach at Apex. In those three seasons, Graham’s teams compiled a record of 9-23. Last season, the Cougars posted a 3-8 record.
Apex’s last winning season came in 2008 under longtime coach Bob Wolfe. The Cougars were 10-5 that season and advanced to the third round of the state playoffs. News Source

Coyotes attacking livestock in rural Apex North Carolina has posed a threat to various other wildlife native to the North Carolina area, such as cows, sheep, and in rare cases even horses. More common is the threat of a coyote attacking your dog or cat if it was to get out of the house somehow. North Carolina has proposed a set of general rules to follow when encountering a coyote.

The plan said children should never be left alone around coyotes, but also said there have been no documented attacks by non-rabid coyotes on humans in North Carolina – despite their having been residents for decades.
